Ella Lou Connell was listed on his WWII draft card as the person who would always know his address.10

This family in NC is the one from Georgia. The WWII draft registration has his birth date and says he was born in Cairo, Grady Co., GA. The 1940 census also includes the same wife and son as the 1930 census.
